  : Location was under extreme remodeling and construction. Very loud noise from construction ALL over entire building was heard for 16 hours of the day - every day... Staff mentioned that it was mentioned on website but it was NOT - She Lied... https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/sjuol-sheraton-old-san-juan-hotel/overview/ The restaurant was not even available as advertised - no Restaurant patio to dine available as per pictured advertising from Sheraton website. I even contacted hotel prior to trip to make sure of room accommodation with ''cruise ship view'' as their website was to be provided; they noted and made ALL preparations to positively execute request. The staff FAILED to even mention this issue of construction and remodeling noise, no restaurant (patio dining overlooking cruise ships - as described in their hotel website). They noted my account and absolutely no mention of extreme construction throughout entire building at all as a precaution. The staff was extremely RUDE stating that I did not have to stay there the day I got to hotel... Even after I explained that my wife and myself were tired and just arrived there from San Juan airport; only wanting to rest a while before dinner. Internet was tied into the TV and extremely spotty - mostly NOT WORKING - Possibly from construction issue... The staff kept making excuses that they contacted the cable company. This was told to multiple guest as well and found to be a lie to buy time while guests suffered without any amenities that were promised - advertised - paid. One Month prior to stay at hotel, the location actually charged my credit card for the entire stay with a note that the amount was non-refundable...

  : The property was undergoing restoration and the room we got was the newest room. The room was beautiful designed.
  : The designer of the room even thou beautiful they need to upgrade the tv holder. Must be a swivel TV holder. The bed and the tv was in the same direction. Could not watch tv from the bed.

  : Is close to the stores and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the $35 towards the restaurant.
  : It was very loud in the morning because of construction.The hallway does not have a pleasant scent. parking was at a different location And it was difficult to find parking the first time.

  : Booking.com does NOT tell you that they start heavy construction at 8A. So if you want to sleep in, its not going to happen. They placed the blame on Booking.com for not informing us about this.
