  : Good reception, nice room, Staff made me scrambled egg on toast for breakfast although not on menu. Nice evening meal and handy for Horning sailing club where I was racing.

  : We couldn’t fault the room we stayed in (1) and the location and view was lovely, which is what we paid for. Taking into consideration the age of the property and its location I would have expected Vintage Inns to make more of this building. Unfortunately they were under staffed, in all areas ie bar staff, waiters, kitchen staff and cleaners. This place needs and deserves a refurb as it is very tired (which seems to be a trait in the Vintage Inns collection) and the staff also requires support from Management.
  : I think, if the staffing issue was rectified, there would be no negativity. This may be a personal preference, but the bed was rock hard for me, if you like this then it’s perfect for you.

  : Bathroom was mouldy on walls and round shower. Windows mouldy and filthy. Room was cold, but plug in electric heaters available.
