  : Nice enough staff, quiet place . Nice surroundings ,plenty to do in the area. Nice breakfast
  : Hotel once inside was very dated and rooms lacked plenty . No wardrobe . Light was coming away from ceiling , shower head needed a good clean . How it ever managed to pass a safety check is beyond me a 3 way plug with a TV plugged in and an extension lead to lead to the other side of the room where the extension lead was plugged into another one to lead round the back of the bed ...certain fire risk there I'm sure but thankfully there were fire extinguishers outside the room if needed . Might have been nice if some fruit or yogurt option was on the menu at breakfast . TV cut out one night , woman in restaurant asked manager to take a look after the breakfast service but when we returned at 7 ish that night no one had bothered so a young girl had a look and sorted the problem. Parking at the back of building was atrocious if it rained it was like wading through a lake to get to a dry bit of road or you could use the small bit of wood on the grass that meant your feet stayed dry but your shoes were caked in mud . Back of hotel looked a mess and our window overlooked the bins and scrap fridge etc that were dumped there . All in all the place needed a good modernising ( yes it did say in the add it was being refurbished but when I read past reviews this seems to have gone on over a a long period of time with not much evidence of a lot done ) Finally the whole place had a strange musty smell to it in all areas.
