: Perfect apartement for a Perfect City.
: The communication with both daughter and mother while one was 30min drive from Lucca and the other in London created confusions. I suggest picking one contact.

: The location in Lucca was good. The apartment is big and modern as described. Bathrooms were excellent, and the kitchen was well set up for cooking if you wanted to cook at home. Everything in Lucca is within easy walking distance and from Serena Apartment you will find all you need. The apartment was generally comfortable. The apartment was close to the train station so easy walk to and fro with luggage. The apartment is on the first floor so you'll have to carry luggage up the stairs (big wide stairwell unlike some others throughout Italy)Serena was a good host, and I'm sure she would help with anything you need. She is very good to communicate with.
: These are personal things that I haven't spoken to the host about, so this is definitely not a complaint on her.Read the reviews. The apartment can get noisy from nearby bars and the passing traffic and people walking past into the early hours of the morning, so if you are a light sleep - consider this. To block the noise, we tried closing all the double glazed windows and running the air-conditioner, but the air-conditioning unit was not that efficient, and rooms got too hot, so we had to open the windows. Monday and Tuesday nights were the quiet nights.We found the mattresses were not comfortable, too soft - but that's us, and they may suit you.Without these issues, I would rate Serena Apartment higher.
