  : Excellent location - very near the train station and the entrance to Lucca. Easy to find this hotel. We did some day trips out of Lucca and were very happy that the train station was only a few minutes walk. The beds were comfortable. A small fridge with a freezer was very much appreciated. Large room with plenty of space for luggage. Very nice friendly, staff, very accommodating with any request for assistance.
  : It is definitely dated in appearance, but we already expected that after reading about this hotel in Rick Steves guide. Removing some of the dust collecting clutter (ornaments, flower arrangements, toys, decorations, and other do-dads) would go a long way toward improving the look and feel of the rooms and common areas. However, the location of this accommodation is totally worth it.

  : The reception and breakfast area was very cluttered Though there was a small bar beside reception with lots of various drinks on display From our experience I think they only wanted to display them not interested in serving drinks !!!

  : The bed could have been better. The construction outside was unpleasant. We couldnt open window because of it.

  : Location for travelling by train was excellent. The city was only a short walk away. Friendly and obliging staff. Good breakfast. Traffic noise was almost non existent.
  : The shower could have been a little larger, but that is common in many European hotels.
