  : The location of the hotel is about 20 min slowly walking with the case as the stone paved streets aren't that great smooth condition. Taxi cost Eur15 from Carimar boat to the hotel door (taxi we found right by the boat) I have picked this Hotel for the outdoorterma water pools and I was very happy with both. The iron rich waters are so healing and helped me to recover!!!! Not all hotel guests are aware of how to behave in and around the pool sadly...loud speaking couple discussing someting in Italian all accross the pool. A lover couple glued to each other for good 30min in the pool while children are around and etc and etc - that brings the necessity of reception briefing to all guests on arrival on how to use and behave in the pools. The facilities inside we have checked but didn't like really. All is very dated and small. Using thermo waters requires having a swimming HAT on. So please bring your own or buy at the reception at 2.50 per hat. The main value of the hotel is in its STAFF. Excellent attention to every customer!!! The hotel should be very proud of their workers. Breakfast was may be no showing great choice of food variety but we always found what to eat. My teenager daughter on her first day was quite moody and even complained that she will stay hungry as can't find what to eat - no English breakfast option she said. So eggs - they had boiled and scrambled eggs (not really well prepared sorry- not airy enough rather heavy slumps) NO Sausages - but 2 type of ham and some other slided meat Tomatoes - fresh and no other vegetable So the chef was very kind to her to offer fried eggs and potatoes with peas (ha ha she meant harsh browns and tomato sause beans) it was very sweet of them to try to please her, I felt very grateful! And a little advice to future travellers if you have any specific requests for food it best if you have a picture of what you actually want as we have seen in bean and peas case -)
  : A big No for me was the absence of a kettle in the room. For a 4 star hotel that is slightly confusing. I like to have my hot teas in the morning first thing and in the night. Yes to accommodate this the hotel offers a free hot water at the bar. But then you need to have some flask to take it to your room to make your drink there? No comfort in that. Choice of dinner - a nice menu offered was for a set 3 course meal cost 20 eur. We don't eat much in the evenings so I wondered if we can have just one main dish and sadly that was not the service that could be offered. Noise - our room 149 was facing the inner yard and the kitchen windows was just opposite..the kitchen noise of something whisking , banging and etc started quite eary .... A pair of ear plugs have sorted that problem for me.

  : We hadn't realised the pool would be hot, which wasn't much use to us when it's 30 degrees in the sun! Also the breakfast was pretty poor, one of the worst we've encountered
