  : The place is gorgeous, and the neighborhood even better. There are lots of restaurants steps away and beautiful sunsets. It is also straightforward to get around from the location. Albett was very friendly and helpful.
  : My only issue was at the arrival. The address was not given properly, so we got to another location, and that's very unsettling, especially when arriving at an unknown city. We had to wait to get the keys, not long, but after the issue with the address, we initially thought it was a scam.

  : Location, this was excellent, the apartment was a good size and well laid out. It was comfy and was ideal for the two of us. Good facilities of having the washer and dryer.
  : Previous feedback does show that points raised have not been acted on but I will comment. Cooking utensils were poor, cheap and nasty. The bottle open broke, which I replaced at my own cost. The handles of the other utensils were loose and will break soon. None of the pans were non stick so not great to cook with. Towels in my bathroom were wet. Light bulb in main bed room wasn’t working. Cap to smoke alarm was missing, lack of toilet rolls. General cleanliness was hit and miss, cooker top and main bathroom were not that clean. A safe would have been a good idea and a TV in the other bedroom. Also the owner let themselves in without prior knowledge to us and without knocking, which I don’t think was acceptable. He did apologise but it’s still not acceptable.

  : I had to stand in the cold for over an hour because the host didn’t show. Every SoBeNY number goes directly to voicemail. Booking.com was no help. My original host called 3 HOURS LATER & said his phone died & that’s why he didn’t show up. Totally lying. Check in email says to never mention short term rentals or “AirBnb” which is the universal red flag for a shady host.Definitely one of those cheap, chintzy new buildings. Every unit shares a duct so you’ll smell EVERYTHING. Soup, bacon, popcorn, but mostly it’s weed. If you’re sensitive to odors you will go insane here. The ducts emit a perpetual whine like a jumbo jet idling nearby. Nothing can turn it off. The drainpipes are inside the bedroom wall so every time a toilet flushes it sounds like a bucket of water dumping into the wall. Showers sound like a heavy rain on the ceiling.- no desk to work at- fridge door faces the wrong way & is super weird to open- cheap metal blinds are already screwed up- bedroom TV has a broken screen & plastic film was still all over it with EnergyStar sticker.- spring mattress is lumpy- pillows are thin awful to try & sleep on- bed blanket is a glorified sheet- bathroom vanity has paint all up & down the side from not using masking tape- both elevators have busted doors that creak & grind when closing & a red flashing warning light on at all times- there’s a big music venue in the bottom of the building so every night is a nightmare of humanity- no sponge/brush in kitchen for cleaning dishes- lights in the living room/kitchen are a couple of table lamps & a few dim spotlights. If you wanna cook at night… lol good luckThis unit was furnished & put together the way a freshman college kid would. Nobody asked themselves if it would be comfortable to stay in & instead focused on getting the absolute cheapest stuff to toss in there to maximize profit & minimize effort.

  : the so called Hometown Hero left much to be desired. he made appointments to come see and fix problems we had 5 times and showed up not once. mind you this ruined my entire days activities 3 times after that I’m glad I never believed him.

  : The location was perfect! We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do, and there was so much going on right below us as well!
  : We weren't prepared in that we didn't know to bring basic necessities. We had to ask for more toilet paper. There weren't things like paper towels, tissues, garbage bags and coffee filters. Although the host did bring more tp and a few garbage bags.
