Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : We liked the location, it was easily accessible by car, close to San Gimignano, easy parking near the house. The views are gorgeous, nice garden, quiet area. Communication with the host was good and the check-in/out process was smooth. The host offered a bottle of water, pasta and pasta sauce, which was a very nice touch (even though we didn't use it).
  : The bed was very uncomfortable, it was very hard, making creaking sounds at every move. The duvet was outdated, heavy and had a strange smell. The air in the house, especially in the bedroom was quite unpleasant. It was stale, damp air combined with old furniture smell. The sofa in the living room looked old, worn down, the sitting pillows were sliding away while sitting on it, making it uninviting and uncomfortable. The central heating was preset to maximum 20 degrees, so we couldn't have a higher temperature in the rooms. In the night when we arrived, there was no running water, but after contacting the owner, the issue was solved soon. After a few days, we ran out of water again, while taking a shower, and it came back after 10 minutes. I understand that things like this can happen, I guess we were a bit unfortunate... *We would have appreciated some tea, and more shower gel and coffee (not just for one use only).

  : The view is superb and the place is perfect for a week in Tuscany. I loved the terrace dining table and the well-equipped kitchen. The house stayed cool despite intense summer heat.
  : The experience is highly dependent on the guests in the adjoining apartment, who share some common outdoor areas. Luckily, the quiet neighbors were quiet and respectful.

  : Room stank of cigarette smoke, oven and cutlery was dirty, owner only showed his face when we tried to call him as there was no gas. Disappointing stay.

  : I love that we didn't need to phone/meet anyone to check in. We just followed the host's directions to pick up the keys and let ourselves in. The location is perfect for peace and quiet and the property is charming with a view of San Gimignano. It's a very spacious 1 bedroom flat and the bathroom is spa-like. Having a cuppa while watching the sun rise in the lovely garden.
  : The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky, there was no microwave, there was no instruction booklet sitting out upon our arrival, dining room chairs too high for the dining table, you can hear the occupants of the adjoining flat, the washing machine is outside in a shared laundry room.

  : Poggeto di Montese is perfect place to stay while visiting Toscany. There is a garden where you can relax and enjoy an incredible view :) We really enjoyed our stay and Marco is a great host who is still available if needed. Thank you
