  : Pros: Great location; quiet, Tuscan countryside, very close to San Gimignano, beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Convenient driving distance to Siena, Pisa, Florence, Volterra, etc. Very good value for money Pleasant host who was able to give us recommendations locally and a bottle of wine Well kept pool Plenty of space for two couples with several terraces
  : Cons: The address given on booking does NOT take you to the property via Sat-nav or Google Maps. The property on Google Maps has a different name to that advertised on Booking.com! No sign for the property on the road. As a result we spent the best part of an hour driving on dirt roads in the dark trying to find it. Charged 50 euro for cleaning. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but the property wasn't very clean when we arrived; lots of cobwebs, mould on ceilings, etc. Overall the property is a little run down and tired. Women are told that they have to wear bathing caps in the pool Towels were hard, smelled damp and weren't very clean Bedsheets were old and bobbly Very squeaky and noisy bed/headboard Lacking basic products - no washing up liquid, etc., very little toilet paper. Host asked us for 150 euros CASH deposit on arrival, in case of damage (not mentioned at all previously)
