  : The friendly staff was a big plus in this hostel like small hotel, which is great if you are looking for an authentic Russian experience. Most visitors are local. Possible to use kitchen for making drinks and warming up food.
  : The shower water was only lukewarm at best. The room is very simple. The front door needs opening by reception staff, and there is no lobby for relaxing. We arrived with early morning train, managed to leave our luggage but had to be out in the town immediately after.

  : Location was more or less good, otherwise nothing.
  : The room that we had was very very small, you cannot event fit your luggage in it. Plus, it was right in front of the reception, so anyone coming in / going out, checking in/out, you can hear it.I guess it would be better not to list that room than destroying the reputation of the entire hotel!The breakfast was really bad: we were supposed to choose the breakfast the day before, and in the morning there was nobody to serve us, we had to ask each time. Not to mention that the food was of the low quality, very low quality.The last but not the least, they asked me to register myself in the city and they charged me 300 Rubles for that. I was traveling with a Russian and we checked with the authorities; apparently you do not need it if you stay less than seven days, but they insisted that we have to pay or we should leave the property. We payed anyway but I am still not convinced that it is something necessary; sound more like a ripping plan!

  : The room was clean neat. The hotel is extremely well located and walking distance from the metro, restaurants and a few of the main attractions.
  : The male receptionistbwas a bit slack when arranging us a cab. He said that he would arrange it immediately and only arranged it once we came out of our room, 15 minutes later. Valuable time lost, as we were on our way to the ballet and we ended up making it with 5 minutes to spare.

  : Overall hotel and staff was nice. Location is good.We did not try the breakfast so cannot comment on that.
  : Only complaints were that we did not get the tags to enter hotel independently so we had to use the doorbell - sometimes the staff was not present and caused some delays. Also there was some problems with my friend's room electricity and toilet.

  : Clean, nice and confortable bed, central, good price, newly renovated, lovely room, young and nice receptionists.
  : Cold room... They promised to fix this problem, but they didn't. They asked for some extra money that they waren't mentioned on booking, but I didn't want to give. They promissed to give milk for coffee at the breackfast, they didn't. More than that, they didn't even gave coffee for bf in the last day.

  : nice, clean, well situated, friendly staff
  : the room was cold - which is not surprising in the middle of Winter but still a bit uncomfortable. The heater brought by the staff did help a lot but taking shower was a trial.
