  : The property is in somewhat a back street that can be hide to find. Make sure to communicate check in time with the property as they may not be there when you arrive. We had a situation with the shower but the staff were so helpful in cleaning it up.

  : The location is very central in the old part of Porto along the river. You are within walking distance to many places in Porto.
  : You have a partial view of the Plaza and the river through one of the windows, from the other you just have the view of the wall of the building in front of the Hostel (there is no street to get to the Hostel from the Ribiera Plaza, just a narrow pedestrian way). The room needs updating and some maintenance such as fixing the shower door because the water leaks to the floor outside, or the door to a closet (where a small refrigerator is located) that is about to fall-off of the hinges. The building has 4 stories and there is No elevator, If you have several suitcases, make sure you reserve on the 1st floor! The kitchenette is very basic and small, as the bldg & rooms are just 3 meters (10 Ft) wide.The reception is only manned from 15:00 to 21:00 so the rest of the time you are on your own...
