LovelyStay - Flower Stylish Apartment

  : The location was great and not far from places we wanted to visit and good restaurants, cafes etc in the area too. It was our first visit to Porto and we will definitely return. A beautiful city. Very cosmopolitan, but not full of itself. It felt very calm and welcoming. The apartment was lovely and very comfortable.
  : It would have been good to have been told full building works were going on next door to the apartment - quite noisy every day! It would have been good to have a coffee jug for roast coffee. We weren't sure how to use the small coffee machine (no instructions). There was not enough storage in the 2 bathrooms or hooks to hang things on. More coat hangers were needed in the wardrobes (there were 4 of us staying). Otherwise everything else was fine.

  : The apartment was spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and modern. The location is great. Nice design with beautiful old features. Bathrooms are dated but clean and functional.
  : The beds were awful. Some of the most uncomfortable we've had. A little noisy from the pedestrian street at night but we somewhat expected that knowing the area.

  : The apartment is large and very stylish, with a great location right in the heart of everything.
  : Porto is very hilly and the steps up to the apartment at the end of the day were a bit much some days! Shouldn't be a problem if you're younger and fitter than us, though ;)

  : its a decent size, good bedrooms and kitchen
  : 1)third floor with no lift for suit cases ,2) NO washing machine is a big minus for family 3) very noisy in an evening, street artists loud till midnight

  : I absolutely love being in Porto. The location is centrally located and easy to walk everywhere. The cafes right downstairs and nearby are excellent!
  : It is quite loud all hours of the night, since its a very touristy street. I expected it, but its good to let people know, especially for light sleepers. While the apartment is a really great size and so pretty upon entry, it is getting a bit older with normal wear and tear and will need deep cleaning, painting and updates. The owners did a great job decorating. (This was my 2nd stay at the property) I didnt love that lovelystay was unwilling to make the 2nd bedroom into a full bed as it had been when I stayed just before the pandemic. I had a friend come to visit and there was so much communication back and forth before I finally got a final answer back, (which that it wasnt possible). They didnt seem to care about me as a long term guest and this unfortunately wasnt a great first part of my experience. They did however agree to bring more hangers as there were only a few, clean some stains on the carpet and replace a broken soap bottle. I appreciated that, in general, they responded to my messages in a timely manner.

  : Fantasic location. Kitchen great.
  : Would be nice but not necessary to have more towels. We contacted the host on day of arrival as instructed so we would know if it was possible for an earlier check-in. There was no communication from the host until minutes before scheduled check-in time. It would have been helpful to know yes or no. Smaller bathroom could use some shelving and hooks. Just a suggestion to make the room more functional.

  : Good location within Porto. Spacious apartment.
  : The Booking.com description clearly stated that the unit has AC. Visiting Portugal in July, I would have NEVER selected accommodation without AC. This apartment does not have Air Conditioning, and the whole place was dreadfully hot and stagnant. We had major difficulty sleeping because of the heat. The management company was not helpful and only offered fans. I would NEVER book another LovelyStay property again. They intentionally lie to get their units booked and then ignore you. Also, you cannot take a car to this place serious walk from the nearest road that allows cars, and there are two major staircases you need to climb. The front door was always easily opened with just a push and posed serious security risks. Also, there was trash in the entry way and staircase. Very unhappy with our choice here because of the DECEPTION.
