  : The hotel was clean and all the staff were very friendly (especially Isabel who was fab). There were toiletries and a hairdryer in the bathroom and a walk in shower. There was a lift to all floors. Close by there were a few cafes for breakfast - coffee and a croissant around 3 euros. There was also an in wardrobe fridge. The room I had was first floor and during the night was quiet - traffic noise started slowing around 7am. There were black out curtains in addition to lightweight curtains on the windows and a tv in the room. I could get English speaking programmes on the tv. As an older single lady travelling alone I felt safe and secure. There were staff in reception 24/7 and the front door was locked and opened by staff as necessary after around 10pm.
  : Towels were a bit old but did the job (3 sizes of towel and a floor towel). Shower had great pressure and was lovely and hot. Location was further away from the centre than I anticipated (my fault, not the hotels). Really poor wifi connection though but this seems to be true of quite a lot of Porto. It was ok first night but pretty much disappeared after that. Location of hotel is in a quiet area right at the top of Porto's main shopping street. It's around a 15-20 minute walk from Trinidad metro station which is the nearest coming from the airport (without changes). It's a fair walk from the river to the hotel in one hit for me (aged 62 and pretty unfit!). Had to unplug the in room fridge as it seemed to get quite hot. Recommend the Basque tapas (Sargardi) bar in the Ribiera area near the start of the tunnel.

  : Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location! Easy walk to the main shopping area and attractions.
  : We were kept awake by the people in the adjoining room, no sound proofing. There were no options for tea/coffee or any refreshments on site other than breakfast.

  : The smell in the hotel was unbearable. They sprayed so much air fresheners it gave me a headacheNo staff at this location. Everything was virtual. If you needed anything there was no one there I would not stay at this hotel again
