  : The location is good, room nice and clean, breakfast ok
  : I had sleepless 3 out of 4 nights despite using earplugs, you can hear absolutely everything from the room above - if the guests above are having a shower, it feels like you're staying underneath a waterfall, so noisy! After 2 night with no sleep I asked at the reception to be moved to a different room and was told no-one was staying in the room above, yet someone did appear in the middle of the night and the noise was unbearable again. No replies to my messages. It's not fit for purpose in my opinion, after all you book a hotel to sleep in it. It really ruined my stay Pisa, very disappointing!!

  : Good location just 5 minutes walk from the Leaning Tower in a quiet little side street.
  : One of the worst places I've stayed at. Obviously trading off its location. I wasn't expecting much for just over E100 for a single room but as a basic you expect a clean room. Opened the door to the first room they gave me to see a large chunk of plaster (the length of my hand & pretty thick) had fallen from the ceiling onto the pillow along with several smaller chunks. Although they were full they swapped me into another room (& gave that guest the original room after cleaning as I later heard someone check into that room). My room obviously hadn't been cleaned well in ages, the floor was dirty (see the pic showing the state of my socks after walking on the floor for 15 mins), the bathroom door had years of ingrained dirt, there were unfilled holes in the bathroom tiles and a huge mark along the wall where the bed had been pulled out. The rest of the room was bare and felt more like a cell with no decoration and just a couple of old and utilitarian bits of furniture. The middle legs of the bed were broken and at an angle so it didn't feel stable at all. And no noise proofing at all so I was woken by other guests coming back, waking early the next morning, reception staff talking at handover time etc.

  : The hotel was very close to the tower and cathedral. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was very good.
  : It is about a 30 minute walk from the central train station. Bathroom was a bit dusty. Paint and walls were tattered looking.
