  : First of all, everyone who reads all evaluations here, should understand that this hotel building is not really from something modernised western European based one. That is everything you have to know at the first step. I am a person who really want to know about Soviet times so this was for me a great experience to go back to the time. The experience was quite nice I can say. Hotel staffs were very efficient in terms of all administrative works and even friendly! Not all the time English is a useful language at this hotel as most guests seem like Russian. Having only one elevator in one building with 9 floors was bit funny nowadays but I really liked this kind of experience. Room was comfortable but you can get as minimum as you need. For me this was fine. WIFI also worked in the room but it was slow. I score this almost 8 out of 10 based on my nice adventure in this modern times. If you want to do such experience, you would score almost the same, I believe.
  : Little bit far from city centre but metro line 6 will take you within 10-20 minutes to the centre. So no problem for sightseeing. There is a big park nearby so it is more or less calm. But remember, street is normally busy. I liked hotel's Russian style breakfast, but if you really cannot eat cheap stuff, it will not be for you. Just choose modern clean comfortable hotels in other areas in Moscow.
