  : The room was adequate and matched photos and expectations for the price.
  : Upon arrival, we could not park in their parking lot due to repaving. We were not notified until just a couple hours before check-in. We both have bad backs, have a handicap placard and had to walk from and to our car (parked off site down the block and away from our sight) upon arrival. The car remained on the street all night and was very concerning to us. When I asked for some sort of compensation or other, I was told they could do nothing for us as we booked thru Booking.com. Essentially, they said it was our fault for doing so and they could not assist us. They could have comped us an extra night, given us a small discount or even a certificate for dinner locally. So many options but the person we spoke to was quite indifferent to our situation. We have stayed in many places in the Monterey area and have other choices which we will be using in the future. Additionally, in the morning, the maid walked in our room while we were dressing without announcing herself. We heard a tap tap, then the door opened immediately without giving us a chance to either get to the door or even respond verbally.

  : Sweet place, clean and quiet. Staff very helpful and great laundry facilities.
  : The location might be too far to walk to anywhere. We had a car though, only a few minutes drive to most of Monterey.

  : The host was very nice and helpful, the room spacious and comfortable with great beds and a mini-niche for coffee making with an extra sink. Also the facilities on-site were clean, inviting, and useful (outdoor patio, laundry, pool). I'm not a huge fan of motels, but this one was as nice as they can be.
  : The room had a bit of a funny smell, albeit being very clean.
