  : Lovely place to stay in Lucca. Old house with cosy, beautiful yard to sit and relax after long walking day. Kind, helpful host; tea, good coffee desk with kind welcome. Room clean.
  : All is fine, just one small detail. There is nothing in shower space, to put bath things (shampoo, gel etc)

  : The location was great! The staff was friendly.
  : The room was clean; however, black mold was growing around the bathroom window, which was quite concerning. The communication was pretty poor, to be honest. It was hard to get anyone to respond, though, which was frustrating to say the least. I had to ask for help from someone who was cleaning rooms.

  : We had booked a spacious room with a fireplace and had paid for the upgrade. We were rammed in a tiny room with no outdoor space. What a disappointment

  : The hotel was in a great location in the historic part of Lucca. We were only there for a short while, so we didn't experience the facilities such as the terrace accessed from our room or the shared garden but both looked lovely. The room we booked had a room with a double bed, a small room with a single bed and a separate shower room which was great.We had a taxi booked to take us to the airport in the morning but the driver called to say he was stuck in traffic and couldn't come on time. Paolo offered to drive us to the airport and carried our bags into the terminal for us. He also charged less than the taxi fare would have cost.
  : Some of the decor especially in the single room was very basic. This may be in keeping with the fact that the building is very old but we felt some improvements could be made without compromising the historic nature. However this didn't detract from our enjoyment and the rooms were clean.
