  : Good location. Close to supermarkets, train station and bus stops.
  : Employees drunk and under the use of illegal substances, rude and violent. I've been using booking for about 8 years. Worst place I've ever stayed. I paid for 28 days and stayed for 6 and received no refund.

  : There was a nice young very helpful red-haired woman who worked on reception. Breakfast cereal bought from the shop. That's about all there is to like.
  : Would not recommend to my worst enemy. My original review detailing the full of horror of this hostel was for some reason deleted because it 'doesn't meet standards. despite it being honest. The hostel has threatens legal action to all 1 star ratings with a description, so ratings here will be skewed. Anyone wishing to received an honest review can feel free to e-mail me.

  : The hostel is situated right above the venue that we went to for a music festival.
  : The room was filthy, the floor wre filthy and sticky everywhere, there were only two functioning showers for three floors of guests, also only three toilets, two of which were inside of the bathrooms with the showers, so we had to wait up to an hour to be able to use the toilet. The bathrooms were also in poor condition and filthy, while the showers had no water pressure so you could only shower with water slowly dripping on you. The whole place seems to be under constriction, as there are a lot of construction materials in the halls, but upon reading some of the other guests reviews, it looks like it is in this condition for a couple of years already. Also, the staff are unbelievably rude, apart from the girl working there. The guy with the beard that's working there even came banging on our door and he started screaming and shouting at us and threatening us and wanted to kick us out of the hostel in the middle of the night because he thought we were drinkig beer inside of the room. We were already on our way out when we managed to negotiate to stay with the girl at the reception (they also charged us a hefty fee to do so). Also, some members of the staff were smoking marijuana outside of the hostel all day long. Anyway, the mattresses were just awful, the one I was sleeping on I could just squeeze with twoo fingers and touch fingers in the middle, also the area was very noisy 24 hours a day, so we couldn't get a good night sleep. The kitchen was also very poorly equipped and filthy, with very low quality food at dispense. All in all it was by far the worst experience I've ever had in any sort of establishment that offered rooms and beds and I would strongly suggest to anyone, even though that the place is relatively cheap, to avoid this hostel at all costs. In fact, with the facilities they have, I am very surprised that the authorities still let them operate as a hostel.

  : We stayed at the hostel for 14 days at the beginning of July. It was me and my family - 2 adults and 2 young teens; we had our own room with an ensuite bathroom on the top floor facing the front of the hostel.Upon first glance, the place looks a bit strange. We arrived after a long overnight journey and were met with a crowd of people outside that were all drinking and smoking and just hanging out. I read the reviews and thought I was prepared but the reality of the place was still surprising.As we were exhausted and needed some rest, we checked in and went to our room. The staff were really good - offering us towels to shower up before checking out the kitchen for snacks. A big shout out to Craig for this.The room was 2 bunks - as advertised. The showers are comically tiny (but this is coming from someone living in Canada where space is abundant). I learned to fit :) Towels were exchanged when asked - no issues.The hostel itself is a work in progress it has some cool artwork on the walls and a bunch of new IKEA stuff was installed while we were there. Its not super spacious so the walls/baseboards get a beating from luggage being banged around but aside from painting every week, the wear and tear should be expected. The room was HOT but we were also there during the 30C heatwave (and I know AC isnt as common in the UK as Im used to). Because of the heat, we kept the window open at nighttime and had to manage the noise.Its noisy from 3 things: Large city stuff, the bar next door and the people using the chairs just outside.The large city stuff is unavoidable. The hostel is located on a major road and sirens and idiots with loud cars will always use these to get around.The bar is funny. Its a (very) heavy metal live music venue. Over my time staying here, I overheard several conversations from its patrons - they were discussing the stock markets, trade imbalances, politics and others deep topics.
