Lovely 4-Bedroom House nr Portobello

  : size of house was good and in quite a good location for what we needed. Beds were quite comfy.
  : Everything was grubby. Couches, cushions, carpets could all be replaced or at least cleaned. The sheer curtains were ripped and dirty and the blinds were dirty and crooked. The kitchen had an unpleasant smell, the bins were disgusting and even old food had been left in the fridge, and the tea towels smelt horrible. There was only one shower for 4 bedrooms and that was small and unclean. It was mouldy and there was a build up of soap scum and the owners had left their toiletries in the shower. There was only one key for the house which made it difficult to coordinate with 3 couples going out at different times. Especially when a cleaner had to come in and clean up an exploded bottle of kombucha, and took our key leaving us with no key. We had to organise to pick up another key ourselves, ruining or dinner plans. The TV didnt work on normal stations and the lighting was very poor. We did not feel comfortable in this house and felt it was very expensive for such a poorly presented house. Unfortunately there were no reviews on this property before we stayed, I think I know why!!
