  : Really great location in the old city of Locarno, close to Piazza Grande, shopping, and restaurants. Quiet street. Piazza Castello bus stop is nearby. Pretty courtyard. Friendly owner. Very clean. Simple but comfortable. The add-on breakfast was very good if a little pricey.
  : The room was rather cold, though we had enough warm blankets. The owner did not tell us at check-in that the credit card machine was broken. It was not a big deal to get some cash to pay, but, if I had waited to pay at check-out, rather than the day before, I might have had trouble making my train. Note that there is no elevator.

  : The location is perfect right in the old city. The owner of the B&B was very kind and helpful and we had a nice time. The room had also a nice little balcony to enjoy evenings.
  : Our room had an bathroom ensuite. The door of the bathroom it is transparent and it is not easy to use the toilet. We felt overwhelmed and overlooked. I will strongly suggest that the door is replaced or the glass is covered with something to allow privacy in the bathroom, which is essential. It will also be helpful to have a bit more diversity to the breakfast, as every day we had the same. A croissant and maybe an omlete can be also added to the menu.

  : The hotel was right in the middle of the old town with many restaurants and my conference venue close by, thats the reason I chose this hotel.
  : Even though in the reservation it said there would be breakfast at the hotel, there was none but I had to go to a nearby caf. The appliances were very basic. Or rather reminded me of a guest house rather than a hotel. For about 90 chf per person without breakfast, this was really not good value for money. Also the host seemed to be very distrustful towards his customers: 1. There was a sign in the room which basically said that you would have to buy the bedsheets if you stain them. 2. He spotted me together with a colleague on the way back from the room after we stored our backpacks there, mentioning that the room is only for one person. This was a very awkward situation which made me feel very uncomfortable. I dont have to justify myself to take a guest to a hotel room.
