  : Delicious breakfast served daily. Felt like being home away from home. Very private and beautiful lake views. The host is lovely and welcoming.

  : the woman that serves breakfast and cleans the rooms literally kicked us out of the room at 10.30 am! She was very rude and knocked very loud at the door at 10.30 and when we opened the door at 10.40 she said I will charge you extra! i dont understand how 12 Mins make such a big impact on her since check in time is 3 pm!!

  : FIRST OFFTHE VIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place has the best views! The hostess was very accommodating, always available, and her B&B was so charming. She also has a dog and the dog was so sweet and precious and well behaved. I got the room with the private bathroom and it was worth more to me so I wouldnt have to share a bathroom with others. The room was beautiful and had lots of natural light. The bed was perfectly sized and very comfortable. I loved the toiletries included and breakfast was very traditional to the area. The house is beautiful decorated and the rooms offer nice toiletries and bits to make you more comfortable (table fan, different thickness of blankets, throw pillows). There is also a beautiful monastery that is within a 5-10 minute walk from the B&B. Its definitely worth checking out! There is also the Cardada gondola very close by this B&B!
  : There were a lot of bugs and spiders in my room. Its not the fault of the owner since she cant control the bugs but my windows were left open upon arrival, and I got bit by some mosquitoes in my room and had to get rid of a couple of spiders. Again, not the owners faultbut I wish the shared bathroom wasnt directly next to my room. I could hear people shoving the bathroom door shut, the faucets turning, and could also hear my next door neighbors talking loudly into the night. It wasnt a problem with me, I didnt lose sleep over it, but its worth noting if youre a light sleeper. The guests were very nice ladies and very cordial at breakfast, so nothing against them either. I guess its just common to hear more in wooden houses? The last thing is that if you dont have a car with you, getting into the city can be tricky. We took the funicular up and down to get into Locarno, but if youre heading further in either direction, youll need a taxi or the bus. You can walk but its very steep and tiring.

  : The guesthouse is located on the hill, where you go up by car on a winding road. Instead, it was close to the Madonna del Sasso church, 15 minutes on foot. The whole house is artistically decorated, with a calm and pleasant interior. The room was bright, clean, with a comfortable sofa, and from the balcony a beautiful view of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. We really liked the garden behind the house. In the evening, among the vines and flowers, at the large stone table with benches, the kind host served us a very good focaccia and we could drink a glass of beer. We would have liked to stay more days in Locarno! Good, traditional breakfast with grapes from the garden and regional products, delicious jams, caramelized almonds and good coffee.
  : Parking is 100 m away and costs CHF 10 per stay. Breakfast is served in a rather small room, all the guests from 3 rooms had to sit at the same table.
