  : 2 centipedes and a rat was seen running inside the house. Couldn't locate the trash bin, so the trash was left indoors on our exit.

  : I liked the open living room atmosphere, the skylights, the couch arrangements, and the many windows off the back side of the house with views of the trees out back. The place had a cozy, fairly homey feel and the neighborhood was very quiet! The dishwasher worked decently and there is a fairly new refrigerator and electric stove top in the kitchen.
  : I checked out two nights early because of mice that made the kitchen unusable and the property did not respond to my notifying them. Thankfully, Booking.com helped me get a refund because of the nature of the problems that I encountered. I was disappointed that the back porch patio chairs and bbq cover were unkept, with bird poop all over making it unusable. I was also disappointed that the dish drainer for drying dishes was filthy and the main skillet stuck so much that it was prohibitive to use. I went out and bought my own skillet. Within the first hour of arriving, I killed three decent-sized spiders and killed several smaller ones during the rest of my stay. The light above the dining room table is burnt out and the table wobbles a bit. Also, there is a major water leak in the shower in the bathroom to the right of the main bedroom. These issues have been reported by past guests but not dealt with. Other guests have mentioned the old carpet - it's true, the carpet is old. That kind of thing doesn't bother me though. I would have given a stellar review despite the carpets if these other issues were not present. My advice: If you plan to use the kitchen, get confirmation from the property that the mice issue has been dealt with before booking. The mouse/mice became very aggressive.

  : Nosy Neighbor Alert! If you don’t want to be watched then don’t stay at this place. There is a nosy neighbor that loves to find an excuse to call and complain. Not even 10 mins into our stay, when a rude vacasa employee came knocking on the door harassing us for having “too many people”(we had 1 extra person of our limit)in the house. Saying a community service employee was on their way to fine us if they didn’t leave. After explaining to her that they were here for the day and they had accompanied us until we unloaded our stuff and we were shortly leaving to go to town. She found an excuse to continue to harass us with ours cars. Saying that the car must not be parked with wheels not even touching the dirt. Which is not possible with two cars, one being a bigger car( it’s a one car garage, so small drive way). After my husband told her that he can not fix his car and not have his wheel touch the dirt, she went on saying that if it doesn’t fit we must leave and we can not park it in the street. Mind you it’s a two car limit and there were a ton of cars parked on the street. She even had the audacity to tell us that she was going to sit outside until she saw our guest leave, which she did. After our guest left not even 5 mins later community service showed up. We explained the situation and she was nice to understand and even told us that it was fine that they were here, just that they did not want more then 8 guest staying the night because the lovely nosy neighbor will call and complain again. She went on to explain to us that indeed it’s a two car limit and that they just didn’t want a car parked in the front yard and that we did have access to street parking. I still can’t believe that this place is even sold out. Our trip was ruined by this moment, I’m glad we were only here for a day. Sadly we left with a sour taste in our mouth with this place. We love Tahoe and come here often and have never been harassed like this. Hopefully the nosy neighbor was happy.
