  : Fantastic views from the upstairs windows. Great shower. Great service from Alan, the manager, as there was no hot water when we arrived; it was fixed in the same evening.
  : Decor is a little tired. You wont be doing anything more than basic cooking as the equipment is limited.

  : The location was amazing, a very short walk to the shops and pubs. The apartment also has beautiful views of the fells from every window.
  : The apartment was tired. All the blinds were broken. It was clean in the main areas, but it needed a deep clean and freshen up decor wise throughout. It was also on a very high floor which I don't think was mentioned anywhere in the description.

  : the apartment was spacious, lots of light, beautiful views, a bit behind the apartment there is a free parking lot, the place has potential if the owner took care of the house decorations and cleanliness a bit
  : access to the apartment was via a ladder, more high, I do not recommend for people who are afraid of heights, it is difficult for people with a dog to reach there , the rooms need refreshing and cleaning, the kitchen had few tools, enough for a short stay, the bathroom was dirty, there was hair in the shower, the floor was dirty

  : Toilet area was not clean floor needing mopped at corners and had to clean who ever was in before us toothpaste spit off tiles at sink which is never good ,marks on wall at bed are off putting also ,we managed the stairs fine but anybody older could struggle,could do with quick paint make over ,at nearly 150a night expected tad better

  : Central location in the town: right by the shops / bars and just a short walk from the park and edge of lake. Mountain views.
  : I booked this rather than a hotel as I wanted to be self-catering and couldn't find anywhere else short notice with a kitchen (not everyone can afford to eat out all the time!). But how disappointing it was, with lack of storage space & lack of appropriate utensils & pots (only large soup bowels rather than plates; no china / glassware for cooking things in the oven or even for the microwave; no oven glove or tea towel..) Washing machine takes up a whole cupboard space, but no soap for it - nor anywhere to dry a load (just a heated radiator for the bath towel). Such a shame, as this could so easily be rectified if the owner had a care.Same goes for the furniture - chosen for basics and without any consideration: TV just had a few channels; sofa very uncomfortable / inappropriate; bed very low off the floor. No town map or leaflets, nor a visitors book (which other holiday rentals provide for the interest of guests). Other 'dog-friendly' places always provide a dog bowl (luckily we brought our own in case). We had to leave the outside door open during the evenings due to the lack of ventilation in the flat (fan provided, but noisy at night - so we just put up with being stuffy).Price should reflect all this.Don't bother if your car is bigger than Fiesta-size: car park entrance and width make entry & manoeuvring very tricky. This stress made us wary of going out in the car each day. Spaces too narrow to open doors to unload. Long walk round the shop buildings to find the bottom of a huge flight of stairs (several, in fact - as the flat is on the very top floor). We were exhausted by the time we'd arrived and made two journeys up & down with our luggage. What a shame there was no welcoming sight of a couple of tea bags & milk sachets to greet us as we recovered. Although Booking.com mentioned stairs - it did not stress how many - so please bear this in mind.
