  : Carpeting had no stains; a/c old, but worked well; headboard on bed was clean; easy access to bus line and the Hobby airport
  : Cracked large floor tiles with missing grout in front of toilet; hole in wall between toilet and tub; towel bar over toilet had visible dent; bathroom door had holes, chipped paint, and was coming apart at the base; bathtub faucet not afixed to the wall and difficult to control hot to cold water mix for shower; microwave enamel peeled off under glass plate inside; visible black/gray spots on pillow cases, sheets and towels although they appeared clean; bed pillows had badly stained casings and one pillow's stuffing was oozing out; large crack under room entry door let light in; no hangers for clothes; coffee maker not working (replacement request was not honored); faded telephone cover made front desk number illegible; someone informed me that their excuse for the rundown condition was that they accept homeless people with vouchers. I took photos of all the above described conditions--It was so unbelievable!
