  : There was a mistake made in this booking. The owner blamed me for the mistake and then asked for additional money on the morning of our arrival. We had already had to do a bank transfer for the original amount weeks before. The owner was very impolite and texted that I was rude and that I could not count. Very unfortunate as it made the beginning of our trip very unpleasant and we had to contact Booking agents to mediate the situation. If not for the owner I would have recommended as Ameland is a relaxing location.

  : A wide range of kitchen utensils available.Swimming and sauna facilities are included.
  : Although the booking details says toilet paper in the facilities, only one toilet paper was given for the entire duration of our stay. We were out of it in the night and the host refused to give more and asked us to buy it ourselves the next day. We did not get hot water on the first morning of our stay, and the host was very slow to react and asked us to call for help ourselves. Eventually the heater started working by evening as it needed more time to heat the water. Some of the plates and coffee mugs were dirty and not cleaned properly. Although new bed sheets and covering were provided, we had to put them on ourselves. The sofa was hard, short in length, and very uncomfortable to use as a bed and sleep.The balcony outside area was nice, but not clean. There was bird poop on the floor and also on the table.The apartment is not well ventilated with only one sliding door/window in the living room.The walls are very thin, we could hear people walking/running upstairs and also outside. Very expensive stay, not worth the facilities and experience we had. We will not return again.
