  : It really is a unique place to stay, we loved the lodge Belladonna we stayed in, everything was clean, we were very surprised by the comfort of the toilet and the bathroom as it was similar to a normalhouse, there was a private beach only for lodge residents with grass, trees and two chairs with a stunning lake view, the owner told us some interesting facts about the lodge, place was not very crowded so it felt like we had the lake and beach all to ourselves We will surely come back to check out other lodges!
  : We had to wait quite long at the check out (check in was fine as there was only one person before us), the process of check in and out seemed quite outdated and could be fastened, one staff member told us quite unfriendly to leave the reception and wait outside the building, as we waited the queue just got longer and longer and the staff seemed not to care

  : [Terrible Experience] It's first time that I couldn't check-in because room owner sleep I hope this room owner will be more kind and generous. PLEASE BE NOTICED that YOU NEVER do CHECK-IN if check-in is later than 19:00 due to room owner's sleep
  : [Terrible Experience] It's first time that I couldn't check-in because room owner sleep During my vacation, my car was broken, so I was not able to arrive room before 19:00. I explained my situation advance to room owner. However, room owner never ever ever allowed late check-in because he said he need to sleep. I asked for again please allow me to check-in late however, room owner said he can't allow late check-in because he need to sleep!!! actually, check-in itself takes just several minutes. However, room owner didn't allow any late check-in. It's first time that I couldn't check-in because room owner sleep... of course, room owner doesn't allow refund rental fee. I contacted to booking.com service center and they request home owner to allow late check-in. However, room owner rejected late check-in and refund as well. Lazy and Greed room owner!

  : Check in process is awful, youre charging 250 euro and the last check in possible is 7 pm. I had an issue with the car and was derailed, the hotel manager said not my concern. And by fortune I found his daughter and supported my check in

  : Beautiful location by the lake. Breathtaking.
  : We were a bit early and they were not friendly at all. We had to wait. Even then, it took quite some time to do the check in. The service in general was horrible. The restaurant was closed. We were on foot because we went hiking and they were not very accommodating. We could not rent bikes. The information on booking is completely false. There is no option to canoe, the sauna was not open, the breakfast was more expensive I could go on and on. Relating the service and friendliness of the staff, we asked for wine glasses and a bottle. It took quite a bit of time and the woman reluctantly gave the glasses and said: if you break them you need to pay them!. Afterwards they charged us 5 euros too much for the bottle of wine. We knew the price and showed the actual price on the price tag. We paid the actual price in the end. Conclusion: they are not transparant about facilities, prices and activities that you can do. Would NEVER recommend this to anyone, which is a shame because it is rather expensive for its worth.

  : The location with spectacular views and the lovingly restored, antique caravan were the highlights. I was very grateful that our lodge had indoor plumbing.. I recommend checking that before booking. After a bottle of wine, our accommodation setting and the way were were treated on arrival seemed less disappointing and we actually had a very interesting experience which will stay with us forever.
  : 1 customer serviceThe first message you will receive on booking states we look forward to greeting guests who treat us with respect well, respect world both ways! For 250 a night, I expect to be treated like a queen, not told to leave reception to stand in the heat while the same person who checks people in, (within the very narrow check in time slot,) then leaves to give other guests a tour of their caravan. I also expect questions via booking.com or email to be answered in a timely fashion. The time slots for checking in and out are extremely narrow. 2. actual location. This is probably my fault for not researching further than booking.com. I had expected a small resort just with antique gypsy caravans. This is a general camp site with tents, camper vans and caravans where the lodges are lined up along one edge of the site (see photos) As an aside. Do not believe your host when he claims that in 34 degree heat the caravan is self cooling bring a table fan. Also, if you just want simple food, the pizzeria in Obertraun is perfectly okay and a very pleasant walk from the site.
