Located in the car-free centre of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of Lake Hallstatt. First mentioned in 1700 the fully renovated hotel offers a historic ambience which has already served as a backdrop to several movies. Seehotel Grüner Baum faces the historic market square on one side while the other side of the building opens up towards the lake and features a terrace. Every day the restaurant Zum Salzbaron serves freshly caught fish from the lake. Parking is possible for a charge in the P1 parking area outside the town.
From there free shuttle bus to the hotel is available.
