  : TV remote was missing and shower gel dispenser empty. I am sure both could have been rectified but we arrived at 11pm for a single night so managed without.

  : Good breakfast with interesting choices if a bit formulaic. Convenient location for our purposes. Good helpful staff.
  : Some of the room maintenance could have been a bit better. (Eg filled soap dispensers and sink plug that worked). These are quite minor deficiencies and all else was fine.

  : Room was clean and tidy. Location was ideal for our needs and breakfast was good apart from the sachet coffee.
  : No shower gel in the dispenser and didn’t get any sleep all night as the floor boards from the room above creaked and we must have had an insomniac in the room as they were walking about all night….not ideal with a 4 drive the next day.

  : I have stayed at this hotel many times and find it satisfactory, although not perfect. I stay on a room only basis and cannot comment on their food. Reception staff (in a separate building in the bar/restaurant), are usually very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The en-suite rooms have bathtubs with showers over (my preference), and non-slip bathmats are available on request. Prices are reasonable on Sunday evenings, usually, but can be more expensive on other nights. Usually plenty of free parking is available.
  : As the reception is in the bar/restaurant, in a separate building, this is inconvenient. If wet weather, you get wet! If they are busy with food etc, you can have to wait a while to get a key/card, as they can appear understaffed. Corridors in accommodation block often smell of cigarette smoke, but the rooms are OK. The hotel often does not answer to messages sent via Booking.com - best to phone them direct if you have special requests. Bath plugs do not have chains affixed, and are difficult to get out if bath is full of water. Complimentary tea/coffee etc, are extremely stingy, and if two staying in a room, ask for more supplies when you check in.
