: Pool House Barcelona was an ideal place to stay for me and a large group of friends. The accommodation itself is fairly basic but this is understandable given how reasonably priced it is. What makes Pool House Barcelona a fantastic place to stay is the BBQ facilities, swimming pool and terrace with elevated 180-degree views across the city. The location is also good, being close to the metro makes it easy getting to the city centre.
: A third set of keys would be useful given that larger groups are being catered for.

: Spacious house, good for groups. The swimming pool was the best part of the house enjoyed by all. Richard was helpful with the check in process and any enquiries I had before travel. He sent the cleaners the following day after an complaint. The views from the house is beautiful.
: The furniture and decorations are very old, needs an update and the beds were not comfortable and we got bed bug bites. however the lights outside the barbecue area was not working and the three days we stayed the owner did not fix the issue.

: Our recent stay at Pool House Barcelona was marred by a multitude of issues that left us deeply disappointed and concerned about the quality of the accommodation.Firstly, on the first day of our stay, my son slipped on a wet floor in the living room, resulting in an unfortunate accident. Apparently, the wet floor was caused by leakage from the upstairs bathroom. Despite immediately notifying the owner through Booking.com's messaging platform, we received only a brief visit from a couple of individuals who promised to address the issue the following day. However, no further communication or action was taken, and the bucket placed in the living room to collect water remained for the duration of our holiday, posing both inconvenience and safety hazards.The lack of responsiveness and accountability from the owner was disheartening, as the safety of guests should be a top priority.Furthermore, we encountered additional issues within the property, including a broken lock in one of the bathrooms and no light in the other bathroom. These shortcomings significantly impacted our comfort and convenience during our stay.Additionally, the quality of water in the swimming pool was subpar, appearing dirty and unsanitary. This raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance standards of the property.Overall, our experience at Pool House Barcelona was far below expectations, and we can not in good faith recommend this accommodation to other travelers. We urge both the owner and Booking.com to address these issues promptly to ensure a better experience for future guests.
