  : Location is awesome right in El Raval next to the Rambla del Raval
  : This was one of the noisiest rooms in my life! The first night, I barely slept, due to slamming doors every now and then (it was a Saturday, with people coming until 3:30am and first people getting up at 6am). I then bought ear plugs and it was a lot better. Suggestions: 1) The doors are new, but have a big open gap at the bottom, letting all the sound through. Please but a rubber or felt at the bottom of all doors to reduce noise ingress 2) When closing the doors, the wood touches the wood directly, which produces a loud bang. Please fit the door frames with foam rubber or similar. This will reduce the closing noise AND reduce the noise coming into the rooms. Costs you less than 5 EUR per door. 3) The rooms had very little opportunities to hang up or put clothes. Maybe add 1-2 hooks for jackets, etc. to the wall? And a few more clothes hangers please

  : I like this place. Very basic and run down but CLEAN and at least has a bit of character to it. Saved a lot of money and the staff were all nice. Location was perfect for most stuff. I would say I was there at a quiet time and I'd imagine if the place is packed and you have rowdy neighbours it might be an issue... but I'd go back no prob.
  : The toilet access bit of an issue as in if someone's in it... plus one day (I was there for 4) someone flooded the toilet using the shower. Tbf that got cleared up quickly. I would not book a shared shower room. The local area is run down but I felt perfectly safe. The elevator fits max 2 ppl - I could barely fit into it with a bag on back!

  : the staff is incredibly friendly, the reception is open 24 hours a day
  : for the first time in my life I faced the fact that you have to leave your keys at the reception every time you leave, it's strange and a little not cool, pinging the staff every time (and in general it's kind of strange)

  : The staff was really, really nice and welcoming. I was told all about the sights I should visit and they speak English very well.
  : I thought that there would be more showers available. I imagined it like in a fitnessstudio or public pool, but it was actually just one normal shower and one toilet for 6 rooms. So it was a little awkward sometimes to check if the bathroom is free. And also the walls of the shower were a little moldy and my bed had some hair on it that wasn't mine.. But all in all it was fine for a three day trip I guess.
