Very Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : we have checked out from the cottage after only one night. Unfortunately there was very strong smell of mould and I couldnt stay there. I had to book another place and pay for it , It was very stressful. The cottage should not be rented to anyone.The mould its very dangerous for the health and I strongly believe that this matter should be taken seriously.

  : Good location for exploring the Lizard. Plenty of space for one or two. Charming decor if in need of a refresh here and there. The chickens running around are cute. Any queries promptly dealt with. Nice little heater and lights. Very pleasant seats and tables for use outside. Lots of clean towels and bedding and dog friendly.
  : A lot of flies, spiders etc, including slugs on my toothbrush. Vegetation so close to windows, even climbing in, which made this more likely. A dampish feel to soft furnishings. Area around front door needs cutting back and sprucing. A dog poo bin would be useful. Pretty clean- but would be good if all dust and webs were removed from behind bedside cabinets and skirtings.

  : Some more efficient winter radiators ...combi boiler? Hot water great but heating at night zero. One bedroom heater.. couldn't work. Had to rely on electric stove (in lounge). Not suitable to run in the night. Older people like need better.

  : The owner was waiting in the reception area and was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was already open, with the key in the door, when we arrived.

  : More lights around the cottage would be nice for when you are driving in, also brighter lights in the cottage

  : We liked the location as there were plenty of amazing walks nearby and that Cornwall is dog friendly in most establishments. We visited the seal sanctuary and Trebah gardens with the dog.
  : Unfortunately the place smelt like mould. We were told to keep two windows open at all times and on rainy days we could ask for a dehumidifier. I suffer from asthma which was made worse whilst sleeping there. I dont mind insects but keeping the windows open at all times meant slugs and snails were frequent visitors in the bathroom. We had moths, flies, spiders and snails in the bedroom constantly.

  : Lovely little cottage with most things we needed, in a great location.
  : Bathroom needs renovation, has no toiletries and the heater stops after a minute. Washing machine is in a separate shed in the camping ground. You need pound coins, and it was temperamental to start and did not clean the clothes well. We had to disturb our hosts to get it working (thanks Liz). It would be wonderful in summer time and the hosts were great.
