  : The cottage was just what we needed for days after walking miles. Bedding was noticeably clean as was the kitchen and amenities in the bathroom. Cottage was lovely and quaint, slight smell of damp but what can be expected in an old cottage! (This also improved a great deal when we had the dehumidifier). Kitchen was stocked with enough crockery to feed 4. Very new and clean kettle & toaster. Fridge was also very cold and clean. Again owners were lovely and the couple of times we bumped into them, they were jolly and interested in our holiday. Location was just a few miles from the centre of Lizard. Would be a steady 40 min walk into the town/village of The Lizard. Advertised as no WiFi/Internet so we expected to struggle to get signal & Internet but didn't have any problems.
  : Arrived to a notice on the table instructing us to leave windows open otherwise the cottage would feel damp due to the humidity in the area. We had a pretty uncomfortable first nights sleep. Owner greeted us in the morning (Liz was great) and she sorted us out with a dehumidifier within 10 minutes. This made our stay much more comfortable and homely. Suggestion would be to have dehumidifier as standard issue in the cottages.

  : We were booked in for cosy cottage but on arrival upgraded to Wellspring Cottage next door which is bigger due to a cancellation - we absolutely loved it - suited our needs especially with having our pet dog with us - lovely rural quiet location - very quaint and quirky with chickens etc roaming freely in the grounds.

  : It was in Cornwall. Liked absolutely nothing else. Left after 10 minutes.
  : Damp, cold and dirty out house not cottage. Not really suitable for dogs as the "cottage " is next to the road and not enclosed.

  : How clean it was and no staff to see when checking out, was very noisy from the road and cars/ people coming and going!Not much communication before we arrived struggled to get through had to get information through booking.com

  : The cosy cottage was infested with crane flies. It was also very dirty which was very concerning due to the Covid 19 situation at the moment. It looked like it had not been clean for months. There was stains on the bed sheets, duvet and pillow cases. The mattress was also had stains and dead bugs on it. We had to sleep on top of the bed sheets on top of our own towels in our clothes as we did not want to touch the sheets as it was too late to book anywhere else. There was squished bug stains and remains on the walls, ceiling and floor. The cottage was very damp, there was mould everywhere and we woke up wheezing. We had booked to stay in the cottage for 3 nights. We packed up after the first night and had to cancel our holiday and return home as the cottage was not fit for us to stay there. We emailed the owner after we left She appolgised and gave us a full refund.
