  : Looks like a nice quirky site on arrival, but let down by the lack of cleanliness in the shepherds hut & toilet/shower facilities. The bowls & cups were dirty, had to wash everything before we used them. The wardrobe was full of cobwebs & the clothes pole was brown until I cleaned it. I went away to relax, I shouldnt have been cleaning & feel this is pure laziness from the owners. Its a lovely little hut but needs some TLC. Clothes draw stink of damp, couldnt put any clothes in. Weeds growing all around the hut. Chicken & turkey faeces everywhere outside. Toilets not cleaned often enough & when they were cleaned, it was a quick wipe, sweep & mop. The toilet brush holder was absolutely filthy & so was the toddler step. The showers have signs asking guests to clean up after themselves, this is obviously to save them the job. They were absolutely filthy, the same grime was still there when we left! Paying guests deserve more respect, again pure laziness. The smell from the septic tank was horrendous, I was urging whilst brushing my teeth. I dont know Liz, but she has a massive attitude problem. My son asked me to feed the chickens with the food that was right outside our gate, Liz came to her front door shouting at me, very unprofessional! She said it explains in the information that we were given on arrival, but I hadnt read it. She should have dealt with the situation in a more mature manner, instead of shouting at us from her front door. My boys were asked not to play with their football, we assumed we had the garden to enjoy whilst we were there, but obviously its for her chickens & turkeys. The only good thing, bed was very comfortable. Stayed 2 nights out of the 3. Wont be returning. Tip for Liz, less attitude, more cleaning!
