: Positives, it is a very pretty room with lovely items, great location in the centre of town close to the beach, communal kitchen space was well stocked with items needed, thought out well with lovely decorations, considered theme and nice touches such as the plants, tea-tray and hooks. Lots of light and bathroom is a really good size, bedroom is quite small but perfectly functional. Tea and coffee selection was really good & plentiful, love the mugs, fan and hair drier provided too!Draw backs: some basics need addressing, the shower is broken so you get scolding hot water and cant turn it down, the mattress is extremely soft but its also in need of replacing, you can feel the lumps and every time the other person moves, the pillows were flat and clumpy and desperately need replacing from use. There was a damaged plug socket with a sent infuser which appears to have caught fire previously. The kettle is a bit rubbish and has no light so its hard to tell if its boiling at first. And the furniture ( although really lovely & good quality) is much too big for the room, the tv stand makes it hard to get round the bed, and it means they cant put a little bedside table next to the bed on both sides which would be much more helpful for guests, if it was smaller it would fit the tv and means the bed could be pulled over with a table on either side. the wardrobe is stunning but massive, a smaller one could fit into the little alcove and make the room feel much bigger too. These are small niggles but would totally transform the guest experience.Summary, I think the owner really cares about the place the items are good quality and its a lovely room. Just needs shower fixing, a new mattress / pillows, and when able to, consider getting some smaller or fitted furniture for the space. We hope the points mentioned are helpful, and super quick fixes, but dont let them put you off staying, we did have a lovely stay overall and we would be happy coming back.
