: What a great spot - as it was on the ground floor, the balcony was right on the canal!. We even had ducks and a swan come out to greet us and after a long day walking I sat out in the sun reading late one afternoon by the water, so relaxing. It was an easy walk into York city centre and also to the old walls around the town. The facilities were excellent and I will admit that I didn't expect a Murphy bed to be so comfortable. On our second day here we had our first rain in the 6 weeks of touring the UK and it was not a problem - we actually enjoyed spending a restful morning here until we walked in to York Minster at lunch time. Can't fault anything here!!
: No negatives, just a little advice - if you book a taxi/cab/uber be specific and informative about the location due to the one-way streets in the area. Luckily the driver from the railway station knew the address but the one who took us back to the station did get it mixed up with a similar spot and the one-way streets.

: Instructions for the different codes to get into the building, before we even found our lock box, were hard to figure out, then a nice English couple showed us how to find the box, as it wasn't at the entry with other room boxes.

: Great location. Perfect for a short stay away from home with a friend.
: Just after arrival it was a lovely day so we used the table & chairs to sit outside & have a drink. The neighbour shouted out his window that we were too loud! We were simply talking & it was 4 o click in the afternoon! There was no dishcloth or scoured which made washing up a little difficult.
