  : Superb location. One of the best in York and a great people watching spot.Spacious and comfortable with pretty much everything you need. We rented all 3 apartments as a family group for a week and found it ideal for our needs.
  : The cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. The York suite (1st floor) had clearly not been vacuumed as our grandchildren quickly found dust and debris in the floor in the lounge/kitchen. Proof it had not been done was when we used the supplied vacuum cleaner. It did not pick up because it was completely blocked. The Attic suite (top floor) had a very smelly dishwasher with food debris in it and eggshells in the sink drainer. All 3 apartments had grubby fingermarks on the internal doors no doubt due to the fact that they are heavy fire doors (we understand why in such an historic building) but they had not been wiped clean before our arrival.
