  : Cleaners turning at 2.40 to start the clean when u can check in at 3 in this day and age shud be cleaned before 2 I think cos it smelt of dog but think it could of been the hoover used or cleaning products as we left door open for an hour and it went

  : This apartment was very cosy and warm; it had recently been refurbished and was very comfortable. We had everything we needed (including a hair dryer - a previous review mentions that there isn't one) and it was ideal for our short stay. It was ideally located for a nice walk into York along the river, which was very pretty (if a little muddy in places). The Christmas tree was a lovely, homely touch! We managed to get a parking space nearby quite easily (even over the holiday weekend) and were able to move even nearer when a space became available. We then walked everywhere, so parking wasn't an issue for us. The letting agents were really friendly and helpful and responded very quickly to our messages. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
  : The description wasn't quite accurate as this was a basement, not a ground floor, apartment. However, this didn't cause us a problem - but it might for others as the access is down some steps... It might be a bit of a squeeze for more than 2 people, especially as you need to go through the lounge / diner / kitchen area (where the sofa bed is situated) to get the bathroom and the clothes storage capacity isn't huge.
