  : We liked the location and found it really easy to find. the centre of York was in easy walking distance for us, as were the city walls. All things that we expected were there, including tea and coffee. There were biscuits too which we felt was a nice touch.
  : The room size is compact as is the bathroom.

  : Friendly staff, we arrived a little early but were given room key and able to leave our car in their car park. Pub is in a convenient location, about a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Although on a main road, the rooms are at the back and not at all disturbed by traffic noise.We had a Sunday lunch there, which was great...generous portions, reasonably priced. Wouldn't rule out staying here again if in the area
  : Car park is very small and it was not possible to leave our car there beyond 1pm next day. There is a pay & display car park nearby however. We totally understand their position, it is just one thing that is a little bit of a shame.

  : Good location, only 25 mins walk into city centre. Basic but clean room.
  : Room was a bit draughty and couldn't turn shower on (rectified quickly when we called).
