  : We were a couple with baby, very nice place, all what's needed for a short stay, short nice walk along the river to the centre, free parking in front of the house.

  : Bed needs a new mattress. An airer to dry clothes that can't be tumble dried would be good. Hot water boiler can be erratic.
  : Great location, we always walked in to York city centre by the river, a lovely walk. Quiet neighbourhood.

  : The location was good for the city centre. It was a bit of a walk but along the river and scenic (although I wouldn’t feel comfortable waking it alone in the dark). Great to have a kitchen and outside space. Host was very good at communicating arrival and access information. We were supplied with washing up equipment which was great though the dishwasher tablets were unnecessary, as after a good hunt, I found no dishwasher! Flat was warm and clean. Free parking was a major bonus!
  : The property is damp and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The kitchen was ill equipped with no chopping board or colander/sieve. The outside needed a good weed/tidy up. All fixtures were cheap and cheerful and fairly badly fitted. Noise from the upstairs flat was really noticeable (you could hear what they were watching on TV and the occupant was walking around most of the night which was loud). It might be personal taste but the bed was really soft and the springs really loud. All in all it wasn’t great value for money and I was glad to go home.
