  : Parking was available on site. The area was near enough to the center to walk, yet not noisy. The room had what we needed, and was comfortable and clean. The television was easy to use and had plenty of options to watch. Tea station and bottled water was in the room. The breakfast room was well appointed and the breakfast offered lots of options beyond the standard fry-up. The hosts were helpful in giving directions.
  : The parking was a bit tight and our car was blocked in by the last guest. This did not actually cause us a problem, but could have if there was an emergency that meant we needed to leave in the night. The tea station provided 2 cups for 3 of us. To be fair we did not notice this until late, otherwise we could have asked for another cup.

  : Nothing, I did not even get into the building
  : I had arrange and had confirmed (twice) an earlier check -in time of 1pm. There was no one there when I arrived at 1.20pm. I rang the emergency number and was told that check in time was 2pm (when I had agreed 1pm). No one came and I had to ring a taxi to take me to the funeral I was attending with my luggage, without having a chance to have a quick wash and brush up and leave my luggage. I did not return after the funeral as I felt I had been badly let down and upset. Despite this treatment, payment for my overnight stay was taken form my account. At no time have I received an apology - only the offer a night in the future, but I don't expect to have a reason to return to York in the next year and I would not stay there if I did, after the way I was treated. Despite my best efforts to request a return of my payment from both the Guest House and Booking.com, I have had no help. I would be wary of using this Guest House.
