The Coach House

Formerly a coach house built in 1890 The Coach House is situated in the heart of the Lake District and 2 minutes’ drive from Windermere town centre and the shores of Lake Windermere. Free off-road parking and WiFi are provided. An en suite shower room is included in each room at The Coach House as well as a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some feature cast-iron beds and antique furniture.

The property serves complimentary tea coffee breakfast pastries porridge yoghurt and fruit from 08.00 until 09.30 in our conservatory or to be enjoyed in the guest rooms (these can be packed up the night before for early risers). A local train service runs from Oxenholme station to Windermere and the property are 10-15 minutes’ walk from the station.

Many activities are available with the Lake District National Park such as riverside strolls cycling through forests or hiring a boat or kayak.
