  : A modern lodge on a beautiful site. Very well situated to explore the local area. A short walk to the waters edge and plenty to do on site.
  : The sofas were tired, one of the cushions had sunk and not very comfortable. Dog biscuits left under the sofa cushions from previous customers. Wi-Fi up & down. Leaking radiator valve in the ensuite had caused the floor to become wet. Two dishwasher tablets for a four night stay and dishwasher had not been emptied from the previous occupants. Heating wouldnt work which was disappointing as it got a little bit chilly on one of the nights during our stay. Tried to contact owners, but no response despite emailing booking.com & owner directly.

  : Location was excellent for trips to Ambleside, Windermere and beyond. The lodge was done to a really nice standard and very pet friendly.
  : There was a small leak under the kitchen sink and the shower head in the main bathroom needs replacing as the water is coming out of the sides rather than the holes.

  : Love this holliday much so that we are booking for next year, like that the owner of the property is dog friendly
  : That we had to wait until 4 to get into the Lodge all the day had gone , #and had to get get out of the lodge at 10 oclock
