  : Room was clean but small. Breakfast was good and quick service. Friendly male staff member at breakfast, male member at check-in and female member who was preparing rooms. The parking out front adequate.
  : We had room 5 in the attic with two very small windows. One was at floor level. so a bit claustrophobic. One socket did not work by my bed, so could not have bed light and charge phone at same time. Check in was not instant, arrived at 5:30pm as advised and could not gain entry, knocked the front door, rang the advised number and just rang out. I went around the side of the property and found a female member of staff who then opened the front door. She had also walked past us earlier when we were outside and could see we had bags but we were left outside for another 15 minutes before they opened the pub at 6pm.You either open at 5:30pm as advertised or when the pub opens at 6pm, just decide which.We had planned our day to get there for 5:30pm as we had plans to get in and out before 6pm, which we had to change.

  : Address is slightly misleading in that it shows up as Main Road Whitby when in actual fact it is located in a village outside Whitby

  : A little bit further from the sea front than we thought. Definitley needed the car although there is a bus service from next to car park ( but no info)
