  : Location and how clean it was = 10 Kindness of the owner = 10 I might look too strict for giving the apartment score as low as 7 but if they fix the things i mentioned in what i didn't like i would give 9. The apartment has all one may need for stay: hair dryer; washing machine; iron; internet (which is not the best but does the job); simple kitchenette; refrigerator; clean towels and enough blankets so you don't have to worry about such things. I don't speak Albanian nor the owner spoke English but it was obvious that the lady is a kind person. Her daughter Ledia was our "bridge" she translated from English to Albanian vice versa (unfortunately Ledia was in Italy so we didn't meet in person)
  : Bed comfort ill say is the weakest part of the apartment all 3 beds were different... so ill rate them separately: 3 - the worst one which was the additional bed which could hardly support me; 5 - one of the two regular beds; 7 - the best one with the newest mattress (but still the bed frame was too loose so it can use some touch and tightening all the bed frame bolts) Two more things i want to add (not that it bothered me too much but it is such a small thing to do and will help a lot with the comfort: - drill a small hole in the wall and slide the LAN cable through it, the way it is now the balcony door can not be closed completely (not a big problem in good weather but when it is cold and windy its good to close the door) - add a curtain to the shower cabin. It's very cheap and i don't know why in whole Albania this is a typical "problem" no one adding curtain to the shower cabin so the whole bathroom gets flooded.

  : The AC and the services strictly related to the apartment were excellent. Its close to the center. Good price.
  : when we came it was really difficult to find the apartment but the lady waited for us and led us to the building which is kinda dirty but all buildings in Valona are like that so no surprise. the Lady was not so helpful with the elevator and at the check-out since you have to leave the keys at the apartment you have to do all the stairs to get down from the 7th floor because the elevator works only with the keys. really noisy elevator and that was the main problem, if you bring your earplugs its fine otherwise not okay in the morning and in the night.

  : The owner was very polite and helpful. The apartment is located close to the beach and the city center. It is spacious and has a balcony with sea view.
  : The wi-fi signal wasn't working well. The pressure of water in the shower was low.

  : Since this was our second visit it was very easy to find the building and take the key from the lady that owns it (we know which apartment she lives in but since this is public i wont disclose it). For easiest "meet up spot" i suggest the bakery and Ledia's mom will come and meet you there. The beds were changed (in my previous rating i gave the place very low score because of the beds) so this time ill rise the score to 9 (even 9.5 if it was possible) and rate the beds separately again. 7 - the double bed which my wife and daughter used 8 - the bed i used this time (unlike last time this time i had VERY GOOD and comfortable sleep) The owner also accepted my suggestion and drilled a small hole in the wall and slide the LAN cable through it. This proved to be very good since this year weather was much colder and we had to stay with closed door (even turn the heating on) and still had internet. I said it in my previous rating and I'll repeat again Ledia's mom is a VERY kind person pity we cant talk to each other since i know no Albanian nor Italian and she doesn't speak English (but for anything you need write to Ledia in booking and she will contact her mom and it will be done soon)
  : - still no curtain for the shower cabin (hopefully that will improve soon) - water pressure was very low (in Friday when we arrived it was easy to take a shower despite the low pressure but this Monday i could hardly wash myself) I assume this is a general problem for the whole building/city of Valona but since in this section we name the things we didn't like i had to put it up so that people can know what to expect. - one more suggestion (although we ate only one dish in the apartment a taller table like a dining table would be much more appreciated than a coffee table) (this doesn't really affect my score and it is just a suggestion) I might sound like too much of a grumpy old man (though I'm "only" 44) just add a curtain to the shower, and a dining table in the room and next time ill rate you guys 10/10 :)
