  : The bed was hard as a rock. I switched beds but the second wasn't any better. I ended up sleeping on the small sofa they had against the window.

  : The signs need to be changed from Econolodge to EconoStay.
  : There were several things that were bad. The shower didn't work and the plug in the sink didn't work. There was food products left in the fridge that was dated Dec. 21st. (God only knows how long it was in there before that date.) The beds were hard.

  : We stayed at Econolodge/Econostay in Vernal Utah on January 5, 2024. The room was filthy, smelled like an ashtray. The floor wasn’t vacuumed, there were candy wrappers and Q-tips on the floor. There was no garbage can. The TV didn’t work. There was no chain on the door for security and you could tell someone had tried to kick it in. There was a massive amount of dust on the bathroom vent, the floor wasn’t clean, looked like mouse poop was on it. The tile was loose on the floor by the toilet, felt like it was going to fall through the floor. I called to the front desk for some towels, and air freshener but no one answered. I went down there. The TV also didn’t work. The front desk girl came (again no ID or uniform) and provided 2 towels (there were 3 of us) and a can of Febreze. We told her the TV didn’t work, she said we had the wrong remote. About 45 minutes went by and someone knocked on the door. I opened it and this person was just standing there with a remote in his hand. I had no idea who this person was and he wasn’t talking. If my husband hadn’t been there I probably would have slammed the door in his face. He finally said he was the maintenance man and was eating a banana. Prior to him knocking there had been some commotion outside. He had no clothes or ID to say he was with the motel. At any rate, I didn’t sleep a wink that night. We would have left but there were no other rooms available. I slept on top of the bed in my clothes. After I showered, I went to use the hair dryer and it started sparking and smoking so I just shut it off. I talked to the front desk and they were very surprised that the room was smoked in and the concerns I had, they acted like they hadn’t heard them before. The pictures on your website of their place is deceiving. It may have looked like that once, but not any more. I am requesting a refund. I use booking.com a lot and am questioning the accuracy of the rooms you are advertising.
