  : Non-welcoming staff, "breakfast" was horrible, no sofa-bed in room as advertised, WAY overpriced for an old run-down hotel

  : When I booked I requested a ground floor room at the end of hotel as I have a bad hip and can't walk or climb stairs very well. They said that would be no problem. When we checked in all they had was a second floor room and on top of that the elevator was not working. When we got to the room there was no pillows and no trash can. They eventually brought those items to us. Super small room no sitting chair, the hot tub didn't work, the washer dryer was out of service the pool was extremely dirty. Honestly I've never felt so ripped off in my life and I promise I won't be going back

  : I liked where the hotel was located.
  : When I was checking in I was questioned why I reserved a handicap accessible room. I responded with "excuse me" and then was asked "Are you handicapped?" I told her "You can't ask me that!" She then got her boss who asked me the same thing "Why did you book a handicap accessible room? Are you handicapped? " I responded the same way "you can't ask me that" the Manager then told me "forget it! You can stay somewhere else!" He then told his employee to give me my money back. I was extremely tired and didn't want to find somewhere else to stay so I apologized even though I didn't do anything wrong. I asked if they could just put me into a different room. I was told they could but I'd have to pay the the difference in room rates. I was not going to do that so I refused. ( I shouldn't have to pay anything extra since they won't let me keep the room I booked and paid for.) After the manager and I argued for a few minutes he gave in and said I didn't have to pay anything extra. I got my room key and proceeded to the elevator which was out of order. I found the stairs and walked up to the third floor and found my room. To say the room was a disappointment would be an understatement. The room was not worth the $151($174 after taxes) for 1 night! The bedding was stained, 1 of the lights above the bed was falling off the wall, the fridge was warm and wouldn't cool down, the shower curtain was dirty, the metal plate behind the faucet in the tub had fallen off and was just hanging there, one of the beds felt uneven and lopsided, and the carpet was dirty. I can't believe I paid $170 to stay there! I will NEVER stay there again!
