  : The location is great, within easy distance of the sea and restaurants. Lourdas is a delightful resort with a beautiful beach and the people are friendly and welcoming. The villa has a wonderful view and is in a quiet spot. Unique Villas were very quick to respond to any queries, and accommodating where possible to any requests. The beds were very comfortable and the air con efficient and very quiet. The barbecue was great and sitting outside for meals was perfect at any time of day. There was plenty of shade outside for the hottest part of the day.
  : The driveway is a real challenge...steep and slippery for a car to ascend. There are lots of steps so perhaps not ideal for anyone elderly. The pool temperature was on the cool side.....we wondered if there was a leak, with regular top ups from the mains. However it was refreshing! The kitchen is tiny and not designed for any proper cooking.

  : Our stay with 6 people at the Ionian Sands Villa was from the beginning on really nice. It started that our taxi reservation through booking got cancelled the night before our holiday started, so we called immediatly the Unique Kefalonia team. They arranged an alternative taxi for us and we arrived from the airport very quickly (after 20 minutes) at the villa. We were even welcomed with a small food package including wine :) In general the team reacted immediatly to our questions and requests and was always super helpful and friendly. The villa looks exactly as on the pictures and we felt really good there. Everything you needed was provided (towels, hair dryers, kitchen equipment, dishwasher tablettes,...) except the little shower bottles. The walk to the beach leads through an amzing hotel resort that belongs to Unique Kefalonia and takes aprox. 10 minutes. The beach is also very clean and in September there weren't many people and we had a relaxed stay. There are some little stones but mostly it is a sandy beach. At the beach and close to the hotel there are some grocery stores and plenty of good restaurants.
  : There are only little aspects that were a bit problematic. First, there was sometimes an unpleasant smell from the drain that we felt in the rooms. But we don't know if it is the fault of the villa or if it is a general problem with the tubes in this area. Also the WiFi didn't really work and we decided we rather use our mobile data. But the villa also mentions that the problems are caused by the local network and not the villa. Additionally the walk to the beach is - despite the amazingly nice surrounding of the hotel resort - quite exausting. The young people had no problem to walk all the stairs and steep roads up and down but for the elderly people it can be a problem. But there is a lot of shadow and spots to sit down to make a break.
