  : Elevators didn't work the first day, no electricity, so pool and locker area weren't useable the first night. Rooms had no Microwaves or an extra soft chair to sit in which have always been standard in other hotels I've stayed in. Spending three nights only to be able to sit on a bed was not acceptable. Restuarant prices were way to high, no continental breakfast and I wasn't going to pay $21 for a meal delivered to room. Even with the discount I expected more for the price we paid. Items we normally get with a $120 room weren't available. Beach visible from room as stated in the ads were blocked by a swamp. For being advertised as a resort I had expected more.

  : Nice clean room. Propertynis well maintained. Nespresso in room was a nice touch. Comfortable beds. We had a lake view room. No balcony, and there are a LOT of rooms with balconies, so that’s worth asking for. Nice view of Lake Superior. The lake is so close, right outside the hotel, that it’s easier to just go to it rather than look out from the room.Service at the hotel is great. Very accommodating staff. They text you to stay in touch, which is convenient. They also light campfires at night by the water, and there are comfortable Adirondack chairs around it, with plenty of firewood for you to use. This is a nice touch. Food in two harbors is a challenge. Restaurants close their kitchens at 9, even if they stay open a bit later. This leaves you with McDonald’s and Dominos as your only options: plan accordingly. Highly recommend driving north a bit further to gooseberry falls state park. Excellent views of the water, much better than the hotel itself (even though the hotel is right on the water).If you’re driving up north 61 from Minneapolis or Duluth, you’ll find the “Scenic Cafe” about 12 minutes before the hotel, highly recommended for healthier and European style food.
  : Pillows were a bit weird but not bad overall. Food options very limited in this town past 9pm. No kayak rentals, only kayak tours. You can borrow mountain bikes for free, but there’s nowhere to ride unless you like riding alongside the highway or have a bike rack to take you to a biking trail.

  : Had a great view of lake Superior from our room, which was large and had a hot tub in the room. Ate at the restaurant and the food was very good but service was not up to par for the price and expectations.
