  : Location and it was quiet.
  : I thought the staff was on the unfriendly side. No one smiled. The front desk ,pool or exercise rooms do not open until 8. That was hard on early risers who like to exercise early.

  : The location of the cottages is exceptional! The view on Lake Superior is truly unique and we enjoyed sitting at the fireplaces along the shore. With a pool, a hot tub, massages, kayak rental and much more, the place offers a variety of great amenities. The place is very quiet but still within a ten-minutes drive to Two Harbors. In terms of location and surroundings, truly a gem!
  : We booked a room without lake view and felt like we were guests of "second quality". We were shocked to see how dirty everything was: stains on our sheets and towels, sticky wine glasses, hair (not ours) in the bathroom and lights that won't work. Staff didn't care when we went to the reception to let them know. Very disappointing!

  : Great location and beautiful surroundings.
  : Bathroom wasnt cleaned thoroughly (body hair in tub, sink, floor, walls and door). There were also stains on the bedding and duvet cover. Musty smells in hallway and stairs. Biggest disappointment - Ledge Rock dining is consistently below average. Servers and bartenders are great, but kitchen needs help. During my visit in March, my beef was ordered medium rare. It came out well done plus and served luke warm. It must have sat for a while in the kitchen before it was brought to the table. During my recent visit, I ordered Salmon that was once again overcooked and incredibly salty.

  : Location! Lodge!! We were there when it was rainy so couldnt do much walking to explore. Bummer
  : Our room was quite small but ok. The room stayed so warm even when we put the temp down to 65 at night- stayed at 75 til we opened the windows. This was December and mild for Christmas-40-50. We would totally come back tho- not a huge deal. Employees were very helpful and accommodating !!
