  : The bed was very comfortable and we couldnt hear the Road so we slept well. The hotel was well located for slimbridge which is why we stayed there. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the food. We both had pizza and it wasnt over priced. There was also a set price menu you could choose from. There was also plenty of parking spaces.
  : We were disappointed that there wasnt any biscuits to have with our tea in the room upon arrival. This seemed mean for what we had paid to stay. Other hotels we have stayed in this year had a good selection. There was also no tablet of soap and the shower cream was fixed high up on the wall which made it awkward when I took a bath. I had to stand up soap myself all over and then lie back in the bath again. There was also an absence of hand and body lotion. Again this has always been provided in other establishments.

  : Clean room.
  : My room bore no resemblance to those pictured on the website. It was very dated in decor, peeling white anaglypta wallpaper, brown carpet, very meh bathroom with a tiny shower. Absolutely souless. I was travelling for work and whilst the room was clean and the location convenient you wouldn't choose to stay in it. I have two more nights in the coming year to say in this location and I'll look elsewhere. The hotel didn't seem busy so I'm curious as to why I wasn't put in a better room, which may have encouraged repeat business.

  : The layout of the reception,bar and restaurant areas. The size of our room and the fact that we had a bath. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of food. And finally very pleasant staff.
  : Faulty shower, cold water valve stuck and only very hot water coming out of the shower head. Some of the toiletries did not work. It would have been a nice touch to have some complimentary biscuits in our room. Poor lighting near dressing table. The breakfast whilst self service, would be better if tea and coffee were served by the waitress. Also, some breakfast items ran out and we had to ask for them to be replaced. ,

  : the bed was comfy, and room was clean.
  : no wifi, no access to bar or restaurant on the Saturday due to function. Hotel stated they tried to communicate with me via phone and email to advise of this issue. No calls received, and the only emails received related to the hotel trying to get me to upgrade one of the rooms I had booked, and also to add a lot of extra's (such as fizz on arrival etc), but nothing about the bar and restaurant not being available.

  : call for room service for 45 min no one there so went down to be told that the sandwiches' sop at 5pm it was now 5.30 so whe had to order of the full menu
